0 Comments Published December 2nd, 2006 in Bondi Area Events. Its that time of year again, when hundreds of people swim in the Banana Boat Bondi to Bronte Oceanswim
Being a keen swimmer myself, I hope to take part in this event, it seems to be very well organised and safety is a high priority. The event is well attended, with 1347 swimmers in 2005 and large crowds at Bondi and Bronte beach to enjoy the day. Sorry for the delay in gettingthis post up!
The course starts and Bondi Beach, the swimmers then swim out around to McKenzie’s point and head south to Bronte Beach. Total distance of the swim varies between 2.2 and 2.5Km, which depends on wehre they bouys are set.
Head on over to www.bonditobronte.com.au and check it out! :D
